Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Zerofy, the bill and debt tracking service available at zerofyapp.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service (and its beta status)
Zerofy is a tool for tracking bills, balances, and payments you manage yourself. It does not connect to banks, does not move money, and does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. The numbers in Zerofy are the numbers you enter.
The Service is currently offered in beta, free of charge. Features may change, break, or be removed, and availability is not guaranteed. If paid plans are introduced later, you will be notified before anything you use starts costing money.
3. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old. Notify us promptly at support@zerofyapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to access data belonging to other users or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service;
- interfere with the Service's operation, including by imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- resell, sublicense, or offer the Service to third parties without our written consent.
5. Your data
You own the data you enter into Zerofy. We claim no rights over it beyond what is needed to operate the Service (storing it, displaying it back to you, generating your exports). You can export your data as CSV at any time from Settings. How we collect and handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service applies automatic housekeeping to old records (for example, detailed monthly payment records older than 12 months and payment audit history older than 36 months are deleted). Export regularly if you want records beyond those windows.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting support@zerofyapp.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk. On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Zerofy is a record-keeping aid — you remain responsible for actually paying your bills and for verifying any figure before relying on it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zerofy and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, missed payments, late fees, credit impacts, or data loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during the free beta, that means $50).
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
